Gran Malbec 2013Geographic Appellation: Blend of Vineyards from Uco Valley and Lujan de cuyo - Mendoza Vineyards age: More than 50 years old. Soils: Rocky, pronus Canopy: Trellis system. Harvest: Manual in cases of 33 lb. Yield: 2.9 tons per acre. Unique Production: Terroir Selections. Aging: 14 months in french oak barrels.

Tasting Note: This wine shows an intense and deep violet color, almost purple. Intense fruit notes on the nose, reminiscent of plum and red fruit marmalade, balanced with the contribution of the oak aging. It is dense and full-bodied with a great elegancy and personality on the palate giving complexity to this "Gran Malbec Argentino". Good marriage with semi-hard cheese, pasta with Mediterranean sauce, and grilled meat with chimichurri.
